Summary
It was nice to see you all in Rome. I think the 2nd EMTG meeting was a success.
I have considered to apply the Organizing Commitee of the ESSKA Congress in Athens 2004 for including the next EMTG meeting as an official ESSKA symposium. However, I strongly feel that the EMTG needs to meet in a more informal session to be able to discuss some subjects of special interest. Also, our next meeting should leave more time for discussion.
Thanks to Gabriela Peters (Germany), Ewoud van Arkel (the Netherlands) and Svend Erik Christensen (Denmark) who accepted to work on recommendations for patient evaluation and hopefully to present this at the next meeting.
Below please find links to a copy of the essentials from the EMTG survey. The figures of meniscal replacement in Europe belong to all of us. The presentation has been updated as the data from Ramon Cugat in Barcelona were unfortunately not included in my presentation in Rome.
